After fighting Tarrlok for the rights of non-benders, she suddenly disappears, and it looks like she was actually doing her job and trying to preserve balance. That’s not the public image, let alone the tortuous demise, that Amon wanted her to have. WHAT IF HE GOES ALL BLUE SPIRIT AND HELPS HER ESCAPE FROM TARRLOK???

Padme costume concepts from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

I rode the Star Tours ride at Disney today, and I was surprised to find that the gift shop at the end of the ride was lacking in anything Padme related.  Actually, it was void of anything Padme related. Hmmmph.
